Hi LG; Thanx for the compliment, u know even when we are sitting on the fence the MM is making a few dollars so that's not a total loss, the last two mistakes I made was trading in a market with signals mixed. At least the ones I understand. There are always going to be some that have it right. I still think the trend is your friend, but I consider a real trend when the majority of stocks are going the same way not some narrow band of winners pushing the index. I have not been watching this for very long but did back test it quote.yahoo.com^XMT&d=5d and from what I saw it don't pay to bet against it, it may not be right all the time, so while I saw the market go down this morning I saw it shooting up, & I sort of wanted to short things but taht ^XMT said don't pull that short trigger yet. I've been short 100 MDY since the 6th but taths going to close if this ^XMT goes much higher. So far I'm about even on that MDY. Jim
