I've never been part of a conspiracy; I think people must think I'm not a good conspirator ~ they never ask me to join up and conspire with them. They think of me as the Homer Simpson of conspirators. They're right of course; I can't even wake up on time. A conspiracy depends on conspiring, yes; and I think I could do that part; but there's a second part which is not included in the word ~ which is to do the actual work, correctly, pay attention and get results, and pay attention and don't get caught. "Conspiring" is just basically thinking. Thinking and talking. But "conspiracy" means people are doing clandestine, carefully executed things; which are actually a whole second phase of the thing. And they're trying to do it without the conspirees finding out; and without anyone else discovering them; and without leaving a crumpled-rutted trail; and without farting the beans when they're caught, and grilled before the Senate. It's the execution part, that second phase, the math and aftermath, where my skills are eclipsed. Totally. Total eclipse. Oh well. Can't be good at everything. [This is where MJ usually says, "No. You can't."]
