Monday April 12, 6:03 pm Eastern Time Kushner-Locke says unit files for IPO LOS ANGELES, April 12 (Reuters) - Kushner-Locke Co, a maker of movies and televsion shows, said on Monday its majority-owned subsidiary, US Search Corp.com, has filed for an initial public offering of common stock. Kushner-Locke owns 80 percent of the web-based operation currently known as 1-800-U.S. Search. US Search is a research service for a broad range of public record information about individuals, including background checks, identity verification and national court records searches. The proposed offering will be managed by Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., BancBoston Robertson Stephens Inc. and Wit Capital Corp.
