I seem to recall that way back when we were *discussing* whether or not the LS-120 would beat out Zip in oem's, the point was made that, due to numerous factors, oem drives have a substantially lower per unit cost than retail drives. I doubt any of those reasons have changed.

Sorry, your statement is not true until someone else proves you wrong. Logic doesn't work that way. You have not proved your assertion. Either you can prove your statement with a factual reference or you are full of it.

...And every single one of those OEM Zip drives sold at a loss to Dell.
