No investor like bad news but one want to know if storm is coming our way.

Well, Tajen, as an investor (not a trader) I recognize that occasional "bad" news is part of a company's life cycle. I'm long, and I'll be around after the temporary effects of any unfavorable news stories have passed into history.

There's a storm coming all right. It's going to be Lucent storming the international market for telecom equipment over the next decade.

Remember all the dire predictions about this or that company chewing up AT&T and spitting it out? T stock moved sideways for a long, long time. But no more. You could've lost a lot of money (and paid a lot of tax) jumping in and out of T over the past five years, but look at it today. Pays to be long. T is a much more accurate analog to LU than Dell, Compaq, or DEC.

I'm really going to enjoy the ride back up to 111 3/4, no matter how many months it takes.
