Of course - I realise that. My core point about increasing ASPs still stands though - unless this discount is huge. Anyone guess what it amounts to? Jim Mc. mentioned 25%

Are the Big Boys (IBM/Gateway etc)getting a double discount from AMD? They are getting the official AMD ~25% undercut price but I presume they also play real hardball with AMD to cut prices more than they would with Intel.

How much of AMD's output goes to the Top Ten (where the discounts are high) and how goes elsewhere?
