Michael, my broker, Brown & co., wants me to cover 40% of my zitl short position as they have to deliver the shares back to the lender. Is anyone else having this problem? I don't want to cover as it would result in a short term capital gain tax greater than the amount that I would receive by covering. Boxing the position, I was told, would not prevent the call in of the shares that are short. This seems strange but they insisted it was so. Anyone have any suggestions?
