<<Dell Computer Corporation (“Dell”) would like to offer you the opportunity to participate as a member in its affiliate program (“Program”).

Dell's Affiliate Program offers you referral fees on qualified sales of new Dell customers resulting from links into dell.com from your website. >>

INTCfan: IMHO, DELL will get VERY aggressive and efficiently drive large amounts of traffic to their website.....Thanks for sharing....I expect to see more and more DELL.com banners all over the web <GG>...

Best Regards,

Scott

Ref:Affliate Program a la Amazon.

INTCfan-

Fantastic, this exactly what Amazon does and they have participants
in this program from around the world,a winning concept and marketing strategy I think. For one thing this is like having a sale force from around the globe for a reasonable cost and the exposure that this will bring to DELL is quite remarkable. What happens I think is that the 'Affiliates' will put a banner ad at their respective web sites for DELL and anybody who goes to Dell's site through there and consummate a sale is automatically credited with their commission, very minimal effort on the part of the 'Affiliates' but quite a powerful marketing tool for DELL. I think that is how it works,I hope somebody will correct me if I am wrong.
