Well, Luc, I am not counting on a near-term crash, although my investments would benefit tremendously. However. i do not see how, long term, this market escapes a brutal, once-in-a-lifetime collapse.

Little note on gold. I doubled my gold shares (all ABX and NEM) last week. if we can pop a bit more, I will write long term calls on 1/3 of the holdings.

Anyone here follow Jim Goodman on SI? He's a bit unusual (but then, aren't we all?!?!?!?!? - at least those posting and lurking this thread). Anyway, Jim is a chart guy. Does only two things - puts highfliers which exhibit a certain topping pattern, and goes long stuff lying dead exhibiting a certain bottom pattern. He just went long S.A. golds (including ASA) and also NEM.

So, here's to a nice move in gold stocks.
