GoNorth,

Apparently not everyone.

Denise.

EDIT: Besides, that was just one analyst's opinion (Yorkton), Godin himself stated he expected $50M in 1999.

It is my view (take it for what its worth) that revenue numbers at this very point in the Company's history are not as significant as other items driving the Company's share price: Nasdaq, Europe, B2B, site improvement, etc. The Company is trying to build for the future. Afterall, this is a Company with a market cap of roughly $1.5 billion and revenues/earnings that using a traditional (and not applicable) valuation model, would not make any sense whatsoever. In my view, its the evolution of the concept that is more important. If you think that marginal revenue growth is more important, so be it. Frankly, whether this Company has revenue of $25 mm or $30 mm would not alter my investment decision at this point. The factors mentioned above are driving my investment decision. I may be wrong. We'll see. To me, the market profile/perception of the Company is more important. Although significant revenue growth would improve perception, its my view that the other events will have a more immediate, positive impact. If this were later in the Company's history, I might agree with you. Today, I'm not so sure.

P.S. I think the share price performance since q4 and the "lacklustre" q4 results support my position. The share price increase has been pretty dramatic since then or wouldn't you agree? Do you really believe that the share price would have been substantially higher had q4 earnings been 10% (or 50%) higher. Maybe, but probably not.
