Bonnie - (One of these days, one of the other brokerages is going to offer free commissions for trading options and stocks with some minimum balance in the account. And as soon as that happens, schwab's clients are going to go poof .) Why do you believe that? If commission pricing were the key issue, they would have no customers now. There are a lot of things that Schwab could do better, but commission costs are far down the list and the things they do well have significant value. Which is not to say that the stock deserves its market cap in any way, shape or form. Regards, Don
