CRNC Overview post from RB:

From 4/13/99:

"CRNC - Get it BEFORE it makes it's rise...

The wait may be over for longs in CRNC. A conference call tomorrow (4/13/99) after the bell is expected to add further details to
exciting pending developments at Chronicle Communications, a fully reporting company. This company's stated bid for the
NASDAQ will likely prove successful if able to close and integrate all recently announced acquisitions. The company will be
creating a conglomerate consisting of two primary divisions. One will be in Computer Consulting and Y2K solutions, the other
in the highly profitable and growing Construction business. The new version of CRNC will projects a profit of over $1.00 EPS!
At a conglomerate standard P/E multiple of 35, this would make CRNC's valuation $35 per share. Currently trading under a
buck, this might be one of the best bargains around. If you want to be conservative and use a P/E of 10, then $10 a share,
still, it's ten times undervalued.

CRNC will have substantial revenues, high profits, and valuable hard assets. The company has already proven their credibility
with several reputable financial institutions that have reviewed their plan.

CRNC has been a relative unknown until recently. Since they announced their plans to acquire 3 different privately held, highly
profitable businesses, in early March, ( biz.yahoo.com ) the company has been on the
watch list of many a trader/investor. Those who went long on the news stayed in after the daytrader sell off, enough to give the
company a new trading range in the .80 cent range (up from under .50) since mid march. Because of the low float, upon the
announcement, the stock did spike to over $3.00 (on under 1MM volume). Then it traded off to find support in the .80s.

It seems that people have a hard time believing that this little (fully reporting) OTC/BB is transforming itself into such a
substantial entity. People's doubts notwithstanding, the company has already closed on one of the three new acquisitions
(Florida Machine and Welding, already giving CRNC 12 Month projection of .79 EPS). CRNC is in the process of closing the
other two acquisitions and is currently talking with a new acquisition targets.

The only negative that I've found so far is that some unwitting early private placement shareholders were unpleasantly
surprised by a reverse split the company did before it went public. It is my understanding from talking to the CEO that he was
advised by professionals to do the reverse split. In researching further, I found this to be a relatively common practice
amongst companies prior to going public. The apparent purpose being that it helps the stock's well-being by keeping the
issued shares and trading float low. Many private placement shareholders understand this and are willing to stay long and
strong as the company increases shareholder value far beyond their break even point.

Besides this, everything I've heard has been more or less positive or otherwise innocuous.

Announcements are imminent regarding more deal closings and updates on new developments.

The company is going to kickstart it's PR campaign with a live webcast of their conference call tomorrow after the bell
(4:35pm EST). Details here:

biz.yahoo.com

Going forward, I expect to see an extraordinary number of substantial press releases (PRs) coming from CRNC. Just read
the following statement by CRNC's Chairman, released 4/5/99, as a preface to the conference call. By the way, I was told by
the company's in-house IR that we will see PRs regarding all developments; in other words the conference call is not in lieu of
putting out PRs.

***If you've made it this far, congratulations!!! By now you may be as excited as I am about CRNC's prospects. As a bonus,
for doing your dd thus far, I'll post something I found out:

Frontline will likely be the next to close... If you read the CEO statement carefully, you'll note he said "Frontline is an
"IBM Partner" and shortly after being acquired by Chronicle will
announce a huge contract with a foreign government to head up their
Y2K compliance issues as well as ongoing computer software
consulting services"

It should happen this week or next folks...looking forward to seeing a PR announcing this "huge" contract.

!!!-------------PLEASE READ-----------!!!
It should be noted that I am not employed by, affiliated with, nor compensated by Chronicle Communications. I am just a
shareholder who wants to let everyone know about a great company that is forming as we speak and the opportunity it
presents to the investment community. Do your own DD (due diligence), I tried to provide as much info as possible to get you
started. I am not a professional and this is not a recommendation to buy or sell any stock or security.
