I have a few what I would like to call "office indicators." The daily market wrap from the office indicators (OI) was.. From (OI) 1..."Compaq is making Dell go down. Why? I don't know, nothing is wrong with Dell that I know of." I didn't have the heart or the time to explain it From (OI) 2...."How are your puts doing? You should have invested in CMGI when I told you to." Ugggggh. He is right, you know. He has no money in the market. From (OI) 3..."Did you see the market today? No I didn't make any money. I'm holding CSCO, LU, Dell, INTC, Home Depo (When are they announcing a split? he asks)and Ascend." This is from the guy who said that he didn't need a hedge. From what I gather, the mainstreet USA crowd is still up and bullish. Not very well informed, but bullish.
