If you saw the expression on his face, he looked like someone who had shorted the market at the open and was now facing the music. I feel his pain... :-)

Well, CNNfn just had a tech analyst from Painne Webber on and he stated that if earnings such as Broadcast.com's (beat the street by 3 cents) continue to be strong throughout the week he sees nothing but an upward trend for Techs. The anchor then asked that some of the more established companies such as AOL and Yahoo and IBM have been trading flat in comparison to a CMGI or Real Networks (which by the way was up $39 today) and he responded "Yahoo had a nice run up prior to earnings and we expect AOL to have a simular pattern up intil its earnings are released. If they beat expectations by a good margin we see significant upside." Anchor : any predictions ?? Analyst " I don't usually like to guess but I'll go out on a limb and say in the $200 range."
