you forget that when this mkt goes and goes for real.. it will be lightening fast. If the selloff is slow (like last Fall where it spread over 2 months) it AIN'T gonna happen. Our best shot at a crash was the drop in '97. The US public stopped that (cause we're in a mania)

no help from them this time.. they've shot their wad.

run a comparison on the DOW and AMAT for the fall of 1997.. and compare it to the current period. I think you'll like what you see.

note the rally in all the cycliclas today? Cyclicals always rally before the crash.
