The idea Steve promoted - doing away with standardized tests -

I didn't suggest that. I suggested reducing the weight given to standardized test scores in evaluating students, and increasing the weight given to overall academic performance. I do not believe, for example, that any student should automatically be excluded from consideration for admission to a higher school purely on the basis of a low test school. Testing should not be abolished, arbitrary cutoffs should.
