Michael, your post is a least a little misleading. I watch the sale ads every week (OK, not for investment reasons, I'm just a geek a heart, and a cheap one too). This weekends ads have been no differnet than any of the last six months. HP is always prominent, sometimes with low end boxes, sometimes with mid, and even sometimes with high end.

Could it be possible they are just executing better than CPQ in PCs?

Michael, I thought you'd get a kick out of hearing it straight from the horses mouth: #reply-8871142

"The market may be high, but there's still a heck of a lot of money out there waiting to enter the market. People won't begin pulling money out until they begin to need the money for retirement. They won't pull the money out because valuations are too high -- many investors don't understand valuation, anyway. If that were not the case the market would have topped out a long time ago."

I think I'll people mark Greater Fool's profile for a while.

MB, If you owned amat jan00 35 puts at 1 9/16, what would be your game plan? I know you rarely buy leap puts (however these aren't the longest of leaps at this point)...but let's just say you held some of these...would you look for a 4 bagger which you generally advise? Would you have expectations that they would come into the money? Would you be comfortable holding them here?
