What it will do is show people why they should be investing in the leader.

That would be consistent with the behavior of other internet sectors; eg:

(1) the net advertising sector (DCLK vs NETG, when NETG released disappointing sales growth figures, DCLK went up while NETG dropped; although NETG has since recovered very nicely).

(2) E-tail sector When AMZN announced that their revenues were significantly up, but they would still not post a profit until at least late 2,000, their stock dropped modestly and then powered ahead.

(3) Portals Yahoo far outpaces Lycos, despite the fact that they are in a dead-heat for reach. The lousy buyout deal isn't helping LCOS.

Still, I wonder a few things about IDTC:

(1) Is it perceived as an "internet" stock?

(2) If so, is it perceived as the clear leader in its sector?

(3) Will the VOIP sector catch on like some of the other internet sectors?

Thanks for your answer.
