I don't think we could expect to guess the timing precisely. It's an odds game that the speculation will peak before very long, maybe as soon as a couple weeks. When the major brokerages start telling their key clients to dump the stocks even while maintaining buy ratings - that's the time to pull out. I bet they will be pumping the Internet stocks like mad when they do start recommending to their big money clients to bail I've seen it many times before : ^)! . . . Go with the flow!

nktomi Corporation (INKT) develops and markets scalable software applications
designed to enhance the performance and intelligence of large-scale networks.
Products include a large-scale network cache application, an Internet search
engine and an Internet shopping engine. Since the company went public last June,
INKT shares have risen nearly 350%. Given continuing demand for sophisticated
networks and the explosive growth of the Internet, it is not surprising that there is
a demand for Inktomi services. The company is in the news regularly. Last Thursday,
they announced that eight new firms had signed agreements to incorporate
Inktomi's search platform into their online offerings. Among those new customers is
BellSouth and StarMedia Network. We are hearing rumors of more good news from
Inktomi. Institutional investors are accumulating the stock.
