I don't agree that the maintenance of the 2.4v spec indicates anything other than the market pays an awful lot more for chips of slightly higher speed. If they can pass the Q/A screen at 2.4 volts why not run at this voltage. It put's more burden on the fans, but fans are cheap. We need the money!
