>>Using your comparison based on price appreciation and revenue growth BII way overbought.<<

Doug/Dagan, we've been hashing this back and forth for months now. I really thought it was tiring when you were proclaiming doom and gloom at $3.00. Now you are saying that the stock is toast when it has risen close to 10 times that level.

Now you say that you plan to short it. What a revelation! Thanks for clearing that up for us. You see we weren't really sure of your intentions. LOLOL

I'll tell you again, that I think you are making a big mistake. Your boss and his friends may be somewhat pissed off at you when it hits the NASDAQ and takes off. Now it may not take off immediately, but it will go much higher. For you see, by then the big MM's will have taken control, and Bid.Com's PR machine will kick into high gear. I also suspect that they will have plenty of goodies to throw to the hungry crowd. I don't think that they have been sitting on their hands over the past few months. Yup, the next few Press releases should be pretty interesting to say the least.

For months now, I have been saying that Market Share and Consolidation are the two factors that you seem to discount. The market share will jump with the added recognition from the listing. And the consolidation will come when more of the business plan (and their six revenue streams) kick in.

They have been planning this launch for a long time now. The plan is unfolding very nicely, and the world (not just the U.S.) will see what they have to offer. Very soon there will be significantly more people visiting their site. This will, in turn lead to more and more vendors wanting them to add new offerings - which in turn leads to more sales, etc, etc.. As you know, this will drive revenues and the stock will continue to go higher. Now, I wouldn't be surprised if they surpass their 1999 projections. But that is only just my opinion.

How high will the shares go? Well, I'm really not sure. All I will say is that I continue to believe in their management group, their business plan, their alliances, and their ability to consistently deliver on their promises.

Now the absolute last thing I would do right now, is what you are planning to do. So, go ahead short the stock. In my opinion, you are wrong and that will be a costly mistake. But, as anyone who has followed this thread for any length of time knows, you will follow your own path.

Now, if your strategy does backfire, and you do lose your money (or your bosses), then I guess you can console yourself with the fact that at least you'll have some friends who will share in your misery. But watch out, some of them may turn on you if they think that they can benefit from it. After all, most of you folks have a history of doing just that.

Tell ya what, let's compare notes in a month or so!
