Dalin: <emeryville crime> Very sorry to hear about your experience. I am extremely familiar with emeryville. Next time you are here, let me know. Actually, the police of Emeryville are known as the most strict and on the ball--of the surrounding towns. I expect your son has spent very little time near inner city areas, as such "juveniles" have radar abilities to pick on those not hip with the body language of the inner city etc. BTW this would have happened more easily at either Berkeley, Oakland, or San Francisco ---which might have been your choices. Also, we all carry cell phones around here--most useful in calling police and/or friends. btw btw the police of Emeryville would like to know the details of the attack/situation. If you would pm me, I will take care of it. I am in Emeryville every day, and know the police etc.
