Kevin,

I love the graphics, but I'm having trouble understanding the numbers. Looking at the index level on January 21, when the index closed at 1207.99, an 8-day decline of 37.96% is shown. Yet the highest close on the index prior to January 21 was 1681.21 on January 12. This is a 28.15% decline. The 37.96% decline to 1207.99 would imply a previous index level of 1947.11, which wasn't reached until March. Are you using intra-day prices, or is the split adjustment causing the discrepancy?

Regards,
John
