I had an interesting thing happen on Thursday. I was at the inside ask on ISLD offering
out at 1/2. Suddenly my offer disappeared, I received no confirmation and prints went
off at the next higher ISLD tier 3/4. Well at that point I didn't know if my order was
filled or somehow canceled. I attempted to cancel the order but the attempt failed. I
then put in a new sell but the software now thought I was selling short. I then called
MBT and after 10 min and a call to island the order was manually canceled. I then sold
at a 1/2 point loss. When I called MBT later they told me Island went down and I have
no recourse. Luckely it was a small block but had it been 1000 shares it would have
cost me $500. Thought I would pass this along. If it happens again I think I will assume
that the order was lost and place a new order. Any comments would be welcome.

Robert

Someone mentioned elsewhere that when placing their Yamner order they didn't even have to give the account number. Does that mean there is some kind of caller ID in place with your phone system? Is giving just my name enough (assuming I'm calling from my home number on your records)?

I know I've called some companies that I've ordered things from before and they basically know who I am before I say a word. When your traders get a call does the client's account automatically pop up on the screen?

Thanks!

What are the guidelines for which securities can have stops placed at Yamner? I imagine there is no problem with exchange listed stocks. What about NASDAQ NMS and Small Cap issues? The reason I ask is that Schwab would allow stops on some NMS stocks but not others and I would never be able to tell in advance. And then there would be this flag called fast market that meant you couldn't do much of anything with it: no stops, no shorts.

Oh, yeah, you should add a listing of the phonetic alphabet to your Order Entry for Equities and Options verbiage page on the web site.

Thanks!
