I'm surprised no one mentioned the spot on CNBC today after the bell. Gomez.com reported on their study and the internet auction sites ranked and EBAY was ranked number 1. They also mentioned that Amazon purchased an auction site that wasn't even listed in the top 15. I thought it was a very positive piece for EBAY. Needless to say it was very exciting to see EBAY run this morning but the selloff this afternoon was very disheartening. Hopefully, investors will have seen the segment or realize that the Amazon announcement is no threat to EBAY's success.
