Data warehouse conference in May, I forget where it is being held, US somewhere for sure. This would be a great time to announce any new product releases. Let me think a data-mining tool to help marketing companies analyze an exponentially growing amount of Internet traffic data. Sound far-fetched? Maybe, maybe not. It probably is, however Angoss software helps identify trends or patterns, in historical data, buying and shopping patterns for example, for e-commerce maybe. This will allow advertisers to target their ads to shoppers who buy from their competitors. If marketers can establish a shopping profile with sophisticated software, how much would they pay for this software? Angoss software was always good software, but their market reach was limited until every business (major and minor) embraced data warehouse technologies. The software will get a much wider reach by offering these types of solutions to all companies in business, service companies like marketing and advertising, and maybe one day to every Internet suffer who wants to analyze data and come up with valuable information, that they can either sell or use to their own advantage. We'll this sounds very plausible to me, so they aren't building it maybe they should. The only reason I'm off on this tangent is very simply, that I for one don't believe that someone posting a company recap on the Internet would make that much of a ripple as we have seen this past week. There are some big players buying in here and they must feel pretty good about placing their bets on Angoss. The news usually follows these types of trading patterns, so the only question is when we will know the real reason for the stock moving so quickly and so high. I'm holding until I know more what the future holds for Angoss. Cheers
