Sedona Systems Announces Intent to Acquire Y2K and Internet Services Company

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 28, 1999--Sedona Systems Corporation (OTC BB: CJMT) today announced that it is negotiating to acquire a Y2K and Internet based professional services organization. Sedona Systems plans to enter into a Letter of Intent with the organization and then complete the acquisition.

The company plans for this to be the first in a series of such acquisitions. Sedona's business plans for 1999 calls for it to continue consolidating similar professional service organizations, in order to increase the company's revenues and equity through the acquisition model.

The current negotiation is with an Internet services company that provides network upgrade and maintenance services to a number of Fortune 1000 companies. It had almost $2 million in sales in 1998. The company is growing rapidly and provides Sedona a solid technical talent base and customer list.

Norm Clarke, Vice President of Business Development for Sedona Systems said, ''I am very excited about the opportunity presented by this possible acquisition and look forward to reaching agreement with the company's management.''
