Well I say Borders will be a bargain once the mainstream gets word of their news release the way today's market is going.

I belong to an investment club with a couple of lifelong friends and others. Borders was brought up as a potential investment pending further review by the members. My first glance indicates that it is reasonably priced, perhaps attractive. I think my only negative was that it didn't meet my minimum ROE hurdle. The kicker here is that even though the company thinks the interNUT business is a loser and they aren't going to invest much, it may add tremendous value to the company. Why not spin it off to cash in a chip that you don't really care about if you can get a big price in this environment?
