But even the stocks you list as special cases of having high barriers to entry are not invulnerable. For example, Intc --> amd: Amd's market cap is only 2.2 billion and giving intc quite a hard time with margins at this juncture. MSFT and CSCO both are more expert marketers than leading edge engineers...MSFT is vulnerable to having climbed to a position of too much power subject to government scrutiny... But anyway, are these darlings' stock prices already reflecting their market position?
