At least, they filed an SC13 for 1.37M shares in NETG and upped their stake (by 200k), as shown by the increased holdings in subsequent SC filings. Public holdings can't be hidden too easy.

And studying the annual report of the company revealed that a holding in the interesting internet sector was brought public this year [1998] and another one will follow in 1999.
