Do you believe that stating positions that you believe in, and arguing them by reference to supporting material, is intellectually 'arrogant,' or have I misunderstood your comment? Do you feel that my husband has been 'arrogant' in expressing his views on the origins of Christianity here, in this discussion forum? If you do, he will not express them here any more. I mean this sincerely. He is only here because I yell up the stairs for him to come down and contribute something when a topic is being discussed that i think he would have something interesting to say about.
