Aloha AGORA,

Just like to pass on some thoughts I've had lately. Remember when copiers first came out by XEROX, everyone referred to them as XEROX Machines. How many people still say they are going to XEROX a copy?? Lots, I suspect.

My point is this, having a "BUZZ WORD" for something makes it stick, and what a sales tool!!

In the computer arena, first there was "Hardware", then along came "Software" to run on that hardware but you had to pay for it. Then along came "Freeware" which definitely assisted in expanding the field quickly. Now there is "Sideware" referring to Concurrent Technology patented by Sideware Corporation. What a great advertising medium, to introduce people to this technology, by utilizing the same "BUZZ WORD" concept as Xerox did in referring to the copying process.

Your thoughts??
