>>Do some due diligence before you jump in<< I now have what I consider to be a significant holding in this company's stock. I purchased my shares based on my understanding of this area and the potential it offers, and after reading the information which had been culled from many sources and posted on this thread. Let's put aside the potential for data mining and the staggering projections for its usage in the years to come for a second. I want to explain why I jumped in with both feet . . . When a company is able to show consistent progress towards profitability, and the management of that company is continuing to take a larger ownership position over the past year - then that piques my interest. When the company has signed deals with some significant and established businesses, and they are most likely in line for a huge windfall from a court case that they probably will win - then again, my interest is piqued. When the company is currently beta testing new products that will have (in my opinion) a very significant impact on two of the largest software applications on the market today (MS Excel & MS Access) - then that piques my interest. When the stock seems to be grossly undervalued and it is in an area that I feel is one of the potentially most misunderstood yet highest long term growth areas - then my interest is piqued. You can build all the PC's, telephone lines, servers, or virtual companies that you want. But their true potential cannot be realized unless the data that flows through them is understood. In its simplest form, this is what data mining does. We need an edge on our competition, and we have to become efficient to survive in the business world. Information is power, and this company can provide power to those who use it. This is why I bought shares in this company. Anyone, or any organization for that matter, who is manipulating the price may enjoy short term gains. However, I plan to hold my shares for the long term. I plan on doing so because I believe in the future potential of this area, and in this company in particular. And besides, my interest was piqued! Crazy Canuk
