let me tell you my story: i had 3240 AMZN shares bought at the end of november at $ 67 1620 CMGI shares bought middle of december at $ 34 (!!!) 2800 EGRP shares bought january 12 at $ 27 when i built this portfolio i intended to keep it for the long term (1+ years), that was my idea. but sold everything in a panic when Brazil devalued its currency... i'm still kicking myself. my unrealized gains as of today would have been $ 960.000 ... shit happens! but there are always new opportunities in the market.
