Just because you have only posted 5 times in the past 4 months does not make kieth a p&Der for making 14 posts.

Combining the fact that he posted x times in a few days and the fact that the stock ran just after that and then concluding thaat the the run on the stock was created by the posts is an unbelivable naive correlation of events.

Keith would be flattered that you imply his posts were behind the run. That is hilarious. He is a technical guy who sometimes likes one of the stox he is daytrading and he occasioanlly even takes a position and he also posts quite publically that he is in.

With each of yous posts you are illustrating the absurdity of you hypothesis that this was an interent post related phenomena. They are a myth - I have yet to see a rumour on the net that made me mnoey ar even turned out to be true.

Paul...LOL

I would love to be able to have the power to pump up a stock like ANC's move on Friday...I could retire early <gggg>.

I had taken quick glances at the stock over the past couple of years (especially when they where going to be taken over) but didn't do any serious DD on the stock until HAZ brought it to my attention on the Canada Day Trading Thread on April 6. I usually do quick DD on all stocks mentioned but ANC really caught my eye so I did the full DD on the stock and bought some. I posted when I bought and at what price and just printed the facts that I found. I wish other people would do the same type of DD that I did for ANC. Just the facts and no hype. It would make everyones lives easier. Hell I even put that the last quarters results were inflated because of the Hummingbird deal. If I was really trying to pump the stock I would have hidden that fact. You can check my posts to other threads to see that I do similar posts to other threads.

My thanks go out to HAZ for bringing it to my attention. I owe you a cyber beer.

Check out ANC on Albert, it's been in the dumper for about 1 year now.
The fundamentals are turning around, they sell software for data mining or data warehouse.
They have reduce operating expenses and are now cashflow positive.
Trading around 0.12 on Aberta. It's time for a double or more.
They have a business relationship with Hummingbird software that proved profitable in 1998.
If Q1 has positive net income (i.e 0.01 - 0.03 e.ps.), stock should fly by 0.25 cents and may even hit 0.50 if very positive (i.e 0.04 - 0.05 e.p.s).
Get in now, you can still get it for .12 - .13 range.
P.s their annual report says that they want to bypass TSE listing and move right to nasdaq. Once the story is out, it will do nicely.
Check it out, call company and request 1998 annual report.
cheers
I do own shares, so my opinion may be a little biased, but won't hurt to perform DD

Best Regards
KEITH

Paul,

IMO a spike in volume on Thursday and the corresponding Friday trading has driven this thread. That's what people from SI do.... look for stock activity and try to find out what's going on by whatever means at their disposal. SI is only one of them. I, for one as a lurker, have enjoyed the posts by Keith et al and consider them informative and interesting. I follow about 50 stocks and this thread has been one of the best for DD and IMO one of the least "promotional".

Keep up the posts all,

Dean

Paul

I also want to comment on this P&D post.

I'm in this game to;

1 - make money
2 - develop a knowledge of the investment industry which is the most unlevel playing field of all
3 - make friendships and associations with knowledgeable investors and speculators (in some cases)
4 - and lastly to have fun

I have never tried to manipulate any shares in my life. I wouldn't know where to start. If I tell 2 friends and they tell 2 friends and so on and so on, I don't think it's that's simple, if was everyone would be doing it.

Angoss was a very simple case, undervalued based on the past 12 months performance, I won't repeat all the positives, they have already been mentioned, plain and simple. If we can find more companies like Angoss through collective information sharing with the Internet as the glue that brings us together, we can all benefit from it.

The Internet is the equalizer for the unlevel playing field I mentioned above, as long as you do the DD, speculation will not run rampant. If you are stupid enough to believe every rumor or type that you read then you deserve what you get, and I admit I have fallen for a couple these scams myself, but I have learned very valuable lessons..

The main point here that the TSE is grossly undervalued as compared to the NASDAQ, and NYSE, mostly because we Canadians are thought to be cutters of wood and drillers of holes, all over the map, but we have also proved that we can be leaders in high technology companies like Nortel, Mitel, Corel, Newbridge, etc.

We can be part of this new information economy that the developing countries are creating right now through trial and error, and as information becomes the biggest commodity of the future, companies that can create it, deliver it, analyze it, etc. will be the leaders.

So, bottom line, keep up the good work and we will all profit in the future.

Cheers

Paul, you're barking up the wrong tree. What you have here is a group of enthusiastic speculators. By speculators I mean they are speculating on the future for Angoss Software. The stock still trades in the 20 cent range, I guess no one has pumped anything too high.
