I'm annoyed, too, in that Barton misses the point. The psychologists and trend spotters are the ones that will make money in this market, not the ones focusing on fundamental value. If he was really worried about fundamentals he would have been bearish for a long, long time.

The market may be high, but there's still a heck of a lot of money out there waiting to enter the market. People won't begin pulling money out until they begin to need the money for retirement. They won't pull the money out because valuations are too high -- many investors don't understand valuation, anyway. If that were not the case the market would have topped out a long time ago.
