Let's face it gents, no matter when they would have announced it the small guy would have fried just the same. Institutions have their finger on the trigger all the time, you just cannot beet them. In a lot of cases it's better to let the institutions "revise" the price down; can you imagine where we might have ended up if every small (inexperienced)investor had had a chance to sell after hours on Friday? the market orders would have pushed this thing below 20 in a hurry. What I despised about Friday's announcement was its tardiness and the fact that it was made through the issuance of a terse note.
