FATB - NOT being valued at fair value at this point, From today's Market Watch: The online technical training market is growing rapidly and represents a major market opportunity in enterprise services. International Data Corporation predicts that sales of technical-training software will grow to $28 billion by 2002, with Web-based training accounting for $6 billion. ''Fatbrain.com customers can now obtain the one-on-one training associated with classroom-based learning without the hassle of adapting schedules and physically attending classes,'' said John Walter, VP Partner Programs, Wave Technologies, International. ''The addition of online courses, open to anyone with access to the Web, is a logical extension for Fatbrain.com, who already have massed a superior catalog of training resources.'' People will be studying for their masters degrees and other degrees more and more, certifications, etc, etc. I get chills thinking of the magnitude of what FATB can achieve. The DTer in me needs to be whacked with a 2x4 , so I don't trade prematurely! ;-)
