DELL already has an arrangement with EXCITE as part of Connect Direct. Wonder what bearing this may have on DELL? Thoughts welcome.

Intel, Excite Form Venture

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) -- Computer chip maker Intel Corp. and Excite, Inc., a popular Web destination, are forming a venture to make buying and selling easier on the Internet. The companies announced they are working to develop a new e-commerce service to help consumers find and purchase a broad array of products and services tailored to their shopping interests.

From the tone and content of your post, we very much agree. However, I believe IBM will give Dell many many many many tests in the future. The Gerstner TEAM at the very top, is something any company would do well to have. All this 5er stuff---you know what I'm saying. As you know about me, I never want to be complacent.
