I think many are harder on Christians because some of them are noisy.

Noise equals examination.

I've met many nice people, but I remember most of them as quiet. I can't off-hand think of a single noisy one I grew to like or genuinely respect. This is not to say I am quiet; it's just what I like.

As a matter of fact, this criticism I should probably not post. But I dint say I was perfect; and my ego tells me I'm past that phase of being noisy; so screw em.

Heh heh heh.

I don't need them; they don't need me.
I spose a wonderful day will come when I need them as me.

Well said, in every house whether it be a church or a slum home in the Bronx, you can find remarkably wonderful people and complete jerks. Setting up pre-conceived belief's about who they are is the weird thing to me.

Christian, Jew, Atheist, or Hindu. Deep down decent people all believe in the same things. That being the human "Natural laws" we all admire. Honesty, integrity, trust, trustworthiness, courage and decency.

It's not the lack of or participation in religion which ensures you follow them. It's everyones inner conscience.

Sometimes we just never sit quiet long enough to hear it speak.

Michael

<<Maybe the trick is just not to expect too much from anyone. >>

Bronze that, put it on a plaque and live by it. It's one of life's biggest truths.

Maybe the trick is just not to expect too much from anyone.

But never fail to recognize the excellence in others' lives and always give as much as you can to everything you do.
