stockid,
Hi!!

RE: Got some more at 40 1/2 today. I've always wanted to get a nice position in Dell. It's happening thanks to all you nice people who are heading for the hills.

Over three years ago I decided upon one investment strategy...accumulate DELL....never sell...

Best, Kemble

stockid...congrats your dell purchase at 40.5

good move...i've got some dell going back to 96, with a cost basis of $2(not even factoring options reductions!)....if i had any regrets, it is that i would sell half my position at the splits...up to the last two splits, but a profit never hurt anyone (allowed me to build intc and msft positions)...i've been accumulating quite a bit under 45, since feb...why, perhaps foolish in the mind of bears or the faint at heart...but i believe dell is not dell...they have successfully made the transition from "boxmaker" to "solutions" provider....the management and the direction are what cpq/dec could have been...the millenium will see dell as a "major" player...much more than today...good luck, hold, don't let the clowns rattle you, may be bumpy at times...as long as the fundamentals remain strong!!!
