Rick, You think 39.95/month is too pricy? Don't forget you don't have to subscribe a 2 second phone line and with all the improvement in speed. Yes, I kind of agree. The situation is different now. ATHM has its unique problem: 1) Average 2-3 hours of installation by 2 installers. 2) A premium service means a higher monthly fee. 3) ATHM not only has to worry about installation, they also has to wait till all the cables are laid and all the COs are upgraded. AOL didn't suffer from the above 3 issues. For AOL it was easy. However, ATHM does have its advantage, which is a big one: Once a subscriber signed up, he/she doesn't want to switch. To AOL, it's easy come, easy go. For ATHM, it's hard to come, hard to go, very royal subscribership. So the beginning is tough for ATHM, but they will reap the reward easily later. Jing
