So why are the ABIT boards favored for overclocking? Is it because the voltage can be adjusted on the ABIT boards?

I'm no expert but I believe Abit was first and its user base is huge on the boards so there's a lot of momentum in Abits favor. and thats true about voltage adjustments. Some one else please step in but I believe Celeron voltages are currently locked. I haven't been keeping my overclocking knowledge base up to speed.

Yes: Abit attractions are voltage adjustment, SoftMenu (vs. jumpers), and large installed base.

All 3 of my BH6's have worked flawlessly, and the latest bios (see bxboards.com) even lets you assign resources (IRQ, etc.) manually.

ZP,

because Abit can do all this in the BIOS rather than changing jumper settings as is required with most all other MOBO's. This feature makes overclocking as simple as changing a BIOS menu option and rebooting. No machine dissaembly required...

I have been disappointed in my P2400 speed since day one....it just doesn't seem to be running up to optimum performance. How can I tweek it. I'm running it on a DPI mainboard w/ 256ram Anyway for me to benchmark it's performance to see if my suspicions are correct.
