Hello Paul....." ''The euro ought to be the main currency in our foreign exchange reserves as its long-term trend will be stable,'' said Liu Guoguang, a leading economist with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.".....
I wonder if he means that the long term trend for US$ will be unstable.
A couple of days ago I posted an article where China has openly said
that the era of US$ dominating as the worlds reserve currency must come to an end.
Question---If this should come about would commodities still be priced in US$ ?
What method would China use to increase their reserve holdings in the Euro.?
Take care
Lorne
