Downsouth - "the dog ate my homework"

I agree completely. Can anyone point to a recent Intel pre-announce or CC where they appear to have been either lying or trying to cover up? I respect Intel management for the way they manage expectations.

CPQ's excuses for missing (not even getting close to) its numbers doesn't jive with what is going on in the marketplace. CPQ's excuses are equivalent to "the dog ate my homework", imo.
Revenues, margins, and product mix are the flip side of "we ain't selling enough of our strategic products and services and we are spending too much money trying". (imo, of course)
