I still can't figure out why ANY individual investor or Growth Fund Manager would want to own CPQ Actually, it isn't all that difficult to figure out. A lot of these guys are refugee Graham and Dodd folks. That means that they focus on a bunch of metrics designed to uncover "value". So they look at things like price/book or Price/sales. The problem is that these approaches are flawed because value is driven by earnings not historic costs or revenue turnover. A couple or three years from now, when these wars will be over and Dell becomes a cash cow, these same guys will sit around showing how this was so obvious. TTFN, CTC
