Per, you are the second SI member from Sweden that I have spoken with this week, which I think is cool.

The passage you have chosen is the most difficult to understand in his post. I don't know much about the euro...my original take was that the Mark he was speaking of was the German Mark. And he was speaking of currency fluctuations (EDIT: inside outside of currency bands)...but this contradicts my understanding

** These currencies have been fixed against the Euro. For valuation purposes, currencies will be calculated through Euro vs. the dollar.

However, if the value of the mark fluctuates with the value of the Euro, one could substitute the word "euro" for the word "Mark"...

Then I considered that I was off base and he was referring to some other "mark to market" in almost any context.

I asked him to clarify. Message 8874603

Ahhaha's posts to me are like a poetry. I feel like I understand what parts are saying...and other parts slip past without understanding. I have taken to asking him lately and try hard not to offend.

Per, I would add that the rest of the post seems quite straight forward...and that people that are regulars on this thread would agree with him.
