thanks OJ for your summation -

Have a problem. Last night I put in a change order to sell JEF at
55 1/2 (limit order) at 3:58. Ameritrade confrimed the change. this morning it is still open (although I saw the bid both before and after I changed my order at 55 1/2.). I was told that it took time because it was a change and then was sent to the MM's. now I have to wait for the open. Is that correct. I was under the impression that if you got your order in before 4PM and the bid was the same as your limit , they had to put it thru. anybody know if what they told me is correct?
