Nobody said it was PCs. LSI does not break things down within computer sector to say what part is PC or not pc.

Actually the message to which you were responding said just that--I guess not, this must be more of a PC company than some thought. Message 8860833

So somebody clearly did say that LSI is a PC company, which of course it isn't.

Moreover, LSI is not at fault for your (and others) misunderstanding that it has business in the PC sector, since it has repeatedly made that clear in a variety of press releases.

Clearly, anyone who has ever listened to an LSI CC, will recall Wilf's usual admonition that, "Anyone who goes head to head with Intel in the PC business will get his head handed to him."

Of course Wilf is about to find out if "Cranium de la Corrigan" is going to be the Blue Plate Special of The Day, since his recent purchase of SEEQ puts LSI in directly in competition with Intel's recent purchase of Level One.
