Morning, everyone! an interesting note from Thomson Investor network in the morning update:

--* Market-Moving News
*---------------------------------------------------------------------*
* International markets rebounded in response to yesterday's rise in US
stocks. On Monday, equities sold off in both Japan and Hong Kong in
anticipation of a significantly weaker session in the US. On Tuesday,
Asian markets bought back stock after the expected pull-back in the US
never materialized. In Japan, the Nikkei rose 1.26% to 16,715 while in
Hong Kong, the Hang Seng jumped 1.32% to 11,900.
* A similar game of follow the leader is taking the major European
bourses higher in thin trading today. In London, the FTSE100 is
0.7% stronger at 6485.9 while in Paris, the CAC40 is up 0.5% to 4375.9,
and in Frankfurt, the DAX has gained 0.9% to 5202.9.
* The S&P Futures are trading at negative 3.7 points with Fair Value at
negative 4.25. At this level, the Futures will have a slightlypositive
influence on US markets at the open.

the Japanese are probably buying back Softbank like crazy if they sold yesterday. :-)
